Daily Schedule (subject to change based on kids interests):MONDAY: Collage & Cardboard Play Both Missy & Emily are collage artists and passionate about spreading the joy and accessibility of collaging in the community! We will work on collaging in the morning and then work with cardboard when we return!
TUESDAY: Flower Power! We will go for a walk, look at flowers, draw them, then come back to the studio to do a variety of art projects with real flowers and make paper and egg carton flowers. We will work with the flowers and other natural materials to make special cyanotype photographic prints with magic paper
WEDNESDAY: Photography !We will go on a photo walk with disposable and Polaroid cameras, then return to the Studio to craft photo magnets!
THURSDAY: Music Day! Time to get groovy! aWe will go on a sound walk, listening to the sounds all around us, and come back to make musical instruments inspired by the sounds we heard, as well as items that are inherently non-musical but can make music via sound, inspired by John Cage.
FRIDAY: Collage & Print Making!We will work on a collaborative collage at the studio, take mini canvases and other found objects to the park, and have some print-making time.
