Join Missy Arellano this fall as we continue to explore all types of materials and the potential they hold to unlock creativity. Kid’s Recycled Art Camp was a huge success, so we are piloting a run of classes for kiddos during the school year in the community. Dates & Time
Wednesdays from 2:30 pm-4 pm
Location:
Still Life Studios (187 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge, MA). We will also walk to Longfellow Park, weather permitting.
Age range:
This camp is designed for kiddos ages 5 to 12.
Registration:
Each session is limited to five students; please reach out if there are no more spots, and we can add you to a waitlist. You can sign up for one or all sessions below.
Activities include:
cardboard play, clay, photography, cyanotypes, music, experimental drawing, collaging, printmaking, and outdoor walks.
About the instructor:
The camp is run by local community artist and arts educator Missy Arellano, an EEC Certified teacher. She has over 20 years of experience working with kids and families in the arts and is a mother of three kiddos ranging from 7 years old to 16 years old. Kid’s Recycled Arts Camp was featured in the Belmont Voice!
Belmont resident Ciara Glenmullen’s six-year-old daughter, who attended the camp, loved this structure.
